How to use Feature Previews

This guide explains how Feature Preview works in meshStack, how you can try out experimental features, and how platform teams manage these rollouts.

Introduction​

Feature Preview in meshStack lets you try out new or experimental features before they are generally available. You can opt in to these features directly in meshPanel, and your feedback helps shape the final product.

Challenge​

Platform teams want to introduce new features gradually and collect feedback before a full rollout. Users want to try new capabilities early and share their experience.

How to Use Feature Preview​

  1. Go to Administration → Feature Previews in meshPanel.
  2. Review the list of available experimental features. Each entry shows the feature name, description, rollout date, and adoption statistics.
  3. To try a feature, use the opt-in option provided in the UI. You can always decide individually which features to try.
  4. If the platform team decides, a feature can be rolled out as the default for all users in the meshStack instance. In this case, everyone will see the new variant unless they opt out (if allowed).
  5. Your selection is saved and reflected in the adoption statistics.
  6. To provide feedback, use the feedback link or button provided for each feature (links to the meshStack feedback board).
