How to Discover Services with Copilot

What is this guide about?

This guide shows you how to discover services in the meshPanel marketplace — either by browsing the catalog with tag filters or by using Copilot to get AI-powered recommendations.

Option A: Search and Filter the Marketplace Catalog​

You can search and filter the service catalog to find exactly what you need.

Prerequisites​

  • You have access to meshPanel.
  • Your platform engineer has assigned tags to building block definitions or landing zones.

Step by Step Guide​

  1. Open the Marketplace from the meshPanel navigation.
  2. Enter a search term in the search bar, or select one or more tag values. The catalog updates instantly to show only matching platforms and building blocks.
  3. To remove a filter, click the Clear button next to the tag filter panel.
tip

If a service doesn't appear after filtering, it may not have tags assigned yet. Ask your platform engineer to add tags to the relevant building block definitions.

Option B: Discover Services with Copilot​

Copilot gives you an AI-powered chat interface to ask about available services and get personalized recommendations.

Prerequisites​

  • You have access to meshPanel with Copilot enabled.

Step by Step Guide​

  1. Click the Copilot sheep icon at the top right corner of any meshPanel screen.
  2. Use the chat interface to ask questions about available services, policies, or how to get started with a specific tool.
  3. Copilot will recommend services and guide you on how to request access.
